Hexalong Blanket CAL 2025
Our 3rd annual summer crochet along is here!
Starting on the 28th June, the Hexalong CAL is a slow paced, supportive crochet along (well... technically a hex-along!) where we’ll make a beautiful, stashbusting blanket together over 15 weeks, one small step at a time.
The CAL includes:
- A detailed written pattern with step-by-step photo tutorials (releasing 28th June on my website, Etsy, and Ravelry).
-
Free video tutorials on YouTube for every step of the blanket making process.
-
A friendly Facebook group to share your progress, ask questions, and cheer each other on.
-
Optional giveaways and lots of encouragement from me!
How to Join
Joining is easy — there's no sign-up. All you need to do is:
- Decide on what yarn you want to use. You'll need about 3250m / 3554yds of DK or Sport weight yarn and a 3.5mm hook. I encourage you to do this as a stashbusting project but if you want the same colours in the photographed blanket, I colour matched the discontinued yarn I used in 24 shades of Stylecraft Special and you can gete your yarn pack here: https://www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/emyleah-newbery-meema-makes-hexalong-blanket-stylecraft-yarn-pack
-
Buy the pattern from your preferred platform once it releases on 28th June.
- Follow along at your own pace - you don't have to follow along with our timetable if you'd rather work faster or slower. See the timetable below for more details.
-
(Optional) Join our community Facebook group to share photos, get support, and take part in our giveaways. Or use the hashtag #hexalong2025 to connect on Instagram. If you're not on social media you can still follow along with the timetable below and my regular posts on the Meema Makes YouTube channel community tab.
