Crochet has been my creative outlet and source of comfort for over 14 years. What started as a way to relax and unwind has grown into my passion for helping others discover the joys of making with yarn.
After my career as an NHS midwife was interrupted by chronic illness and disability, crochet became not just a hobby, but a lifeline. It gave me a way to focus my energy and find peace during difficult times. In 2022, I began sharing my crochet journey online, and in 2023, I took the leap into publishing patterns and creating YouTube tutorials.

Molly has an important job helping me with Meema Makes - by draping herself across my arms while I crochet! She's a bit of a troublemaker but she's great for cuddling when I'm not well. You'll see her pop up in my content from time to time.
