The squares are designed as an expansion pack for the original Yorkshire Blanket pattern, but you do not need the original pattern to make them as this download provides full written instructions with round by round photos and video tutorials for all squares. All four squares can also be used together with the original Yorkshire Blanket squares or by themselves in other projects.

Yarn & Gauge
The squares can be made using any yarn weight and hook size desired. The sample squares shown in the photos are made using Drops Safran and a 3mm hook. The colours used are: Amethyst (58), Blush (69), Forest Green (78), and Pistachio (65). The pattern PDF includes meterage and gauge information for fingering, sport and DK weight yarns.
